$500 wedding dresses are expensive, to be sure. But they are worth it. This is for the wedding dresses that I bought for my wedding (yes, I married a girl in the fashion industry because I have an affinity for the artsy-craftsy that goes with weddings) and are currently being worn by my bridesmaids. I don’t want to show you how much of a piece of work this was.

Im very happy to say that I will be having a very extravagant wedding. I have the most expensive dress in my collection, a one-of-a-kind custom dress that will cost me $500,000. To be exact, it was made by a company called The Stig. The dress itself is made of the finest satin, is hand-stitched, and was hand-painted by two women named Ann and Amanda.
The $500 dress is actually pretty cute. Because, like most of my other dresses, it’s made of satin, so it makes a nice, “just the way I like it” look. I’m not sure if the Stig is also wearing a tuxedo with the dress, but that’s an idea that I have to have.
The Stig dresses usually cost between $100 and $600, and with the prices they charge, it is definitely worth the money. That dress, however, is not one of those cheap, tacky dresses. It is actually a gorgeous dress, with a satin bodice, a matching satin skirt, a matching satin jacket, and a matching matching satin belt.
You may not like the Stig at first, but the dress is not only beautiful, it is perfect for the season. The Stig dresses tend to be sold at big department stores (think Neiman Marcus or American Eagle), where you can actually find the dresses in the clothing sections. You can also find them at some larger wedding stores like Saks, but even the bigger stores tend to sell the dresses at full price.
This style is a lot more affordable than something like the Vicks wedges, where the price is often a lot more than the dress itself. But those can be expensive, too, so if you’re looking for a good deal you might want to try one of these.
For a more modest wedding you could try something like a Vera Wang dress. I’m not sure about the prices here, but I’d say they’re in the $400s range. Plus, if you want to save on the wedding dress, you could always try to find something that’s less dressy and more dressy.
