Today’s broadcast featured the announcement of the new ABC News channel and a video of their new logo, but more importantly, a new video on ABC News and why they decided to make the news channel a reality.
ABC News is the largest broadcast news network in the world, and the channel is owned by The Walt Disney Company, which has a long history of owning and selling cable channels. The company’s reason for launching an official news channel was to get access to more and more content from major news organizations. That’s why ABC, like many other news networks, is in the business of owning and selling cable channels.
I’m sure the news channel will make some really cool stuff, but on top of that, as a viewer, I won’t know if it is worth paying to watch. The channel is currently only available on the ABC app. So you will have to go to ABC.com to subscribe or pay.
