The system allows you to look around for the things you want to do and then take them with you, as well as being able to point your phone at something and use your other smartphone to control the device. You can even use your finger to scroll through websites, or even open a camera shutter to take a picture of something. You can even take a photograph of something that you want to take a picture of, and then use your phone to control the camera.
You’re basically ableton’s own personal assistant. It’s the “I” in the word “Ableton.” You can just point your phone at anything you want, then simply tell it what to do. The only way to get your phone to do anything is to put a battery in it.
When you buy a phone, you are given two options, one with a camera, and the other without. You can either buy the phone with the camera, or buy the phone without the camera. The problem with this is that you can never have a phone without a camera. So you’re stuck with the Camera Phone option.
This is where the Assistant comes in. The Assistant is a small black box that sits on the back of your phone in a little hole. The Assistant has a simple interface that allows you to control your phone by saying “Camera phone”. The Assistant then uses your phone’s camera to capture whatever you point at. The Assistant then uses this info to make suggestions as to how to do something. I found the Assistant was quite useful in teaching me how to use my phone’s camera.
I’m not sure that I would recommend anyone actually buy this phone, because it’s a bit too much of an investment to justify. The Assistant is a very simple little app that does a lot of the work for you. It makes using your phone a lot easier and less stressful.
You can use the Assistant to capture whatever you point at. I find that while using the phone is less stressful, it can be a bit of a learning curve, and is a bit less effective for what it is. The Assistants work is pretty good, for me anyway. It is definitely worth the investment.
