If you’re like me, the idea of death might seem like it’s a little scary. One of my favorite TV shows, “The Office,” has been exploring death for years, and even before that, when Matt and Dwight were on the show, they were exploring death a lot.
In the last few months, we have seen the death of three people in a house in the hills of North Carolina. They’re all in the care of the state Department of Health and Hospitals. The story itself is very thin, and the details of their deaths are not clear. The story’s very brief, but the details are quite interesting. It is a real story about death. You can’t just shoot a guy with a gun and kill him.
We are told that one of the victims is a former firefighter who loved to hunt and drink beer. Another is the grandfather of a missing girl from the area. Yet another is the father of a man who had his heart ripped out by a psychotic woman during a home invasion. It is not immediately clear whether they died from a gunshot or a knife attack, and if so, how many.
The story is told through the eyes of four characters who each have their own motives, secrets to keep, and a plan. The three first have to recover the body and bring the girl back to her family. The three last have to be careful of the man who is a potential threat. There are a lot of interesting characters, and I loved how they all seemed to have a purpose.
Annette Funicello may be one of the most interesting characters in the film. She is a woman who has been married to the same man for over a decade, and has no idea why. When she is attacked, she calls her husband to come to her aid, only to find that her husband is not a threat. The last thing she wants is for the man to come to her aid.
When you’ve been married for so long, it’s easy to forget that there’s a purpose to the relationship. I thought it was really neat that Ann had the same feeling when she called her husband.
As for what it means to be married for so long, it doesn’t necessarily mean your spouse is a coward. A husband might be a coward, but a husband with a wife who is completely forgetful of her husband’s existence is likely just plain weird.
Well, you could argue that having one’s spouse forget to remember something has a high probability of being true and being a threat. But a marriage that lasts for so long without the wife remembering her husband is also likely a lot of weird. It’s like an alien abduction or something.
Deathloop is a sort of non-linear game in that it’s not about having the full story of a certain situation. Colt Vahn is not just a part of a group of people who live in this island, he’s the leader. There’s no point in having the full story of his life if he’s never going to get out of that island alive.
