A few years ago I was searching for a name for a character in my sci-fi action/adventure book series. I asked my co-author “What was the name of the guy who died in the space shuttle in the movie Star Wars?” She gave me a list of several names, and then told me that the name I was looking for was Bill Spain.
Like most of you, I think that I’ve grown to have more confidence in my own abilities than I have in the ability to work as a player and manage my own life. I’m looking to learn more about my characters as a way of doing my own thing.

Ive never used the word “educator” before. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. I think that it has been part of my personality for a decade, which has not always been an option. For example, I was a student at MIT, so I’ve never liked the “educator” part, but I don’t think that it’s the most important part of learning.
