CORTez, Co., is at the other end of the western United States from Denver. It’s a town that can be reached by several different routes. Cortez has a population of just over 100, but it’s known for its beautiful mountain views, the local specialty being the Cortez Mountain Bike Trail. It’s also home to the Cortez Ski Resort, the Cortez Ice Arena, and the Cortez Museum of Art.
I think we’re close enough to the west coast that we can take it in our stride. Even if the weather is too cold and rainy for that, it’s too dangerous for us to be doing anything else.
I don’t know if it’s cold enough to be dangerous for us. We still want to see Cortez, but it seems like we’re making more of a point about going to the west coast than the north. It’s not really as far away as we think, but it is a bit off the beaten path.
We think it’s safe enough to go to Cortez, but it’s still a bit of a hike. The resort is actually right in the middle of the snowcapped mountains, with three different ski areas and the Cortez Museum of Art.
Maybe we need to get some photos of the snowcapped mountains to help us out. But they are just across the street.
Cortez is not as scary as we think it is, but its basically the same as other resorts, no bigger than a large mountain village. We have a very good idea why Cortez is so scary. The only thing that’s different is that the resort has a private entrance to the resort and that they can’t use it for free. We just want to make sure we’re on our way.

Cortez is an indoor ski resort, in that you are basically skiing indoors on the inside as you spend the day in a ski lodge. But Cortez has a different kind of vibe. First, Cortez doesn’t have very many restaurants, so instead of the typical restaurant food, you eat at a communal table that is right next to the lounge. This is because there’s no way to enjoy a meal at a restaurant that’s right next to a lounge.
You can enjoy a meal right next to a lounge. But the problem is, unlike the rest of the resort, you have to be near a lounge for Cortez to be fun. And the lounge is a huge problem. We had to wait ten minutes for our food at a place that was right next to a lounge. Not to mention, you can only have one drink per visit to the resort.
