The problem with getting a new job is that the job you get is usually the first one you can’t really get to work at. If you can get a new job, you can probably get a new home. Sure, having a new job may make your life feel better. But it will also feel like work. And that’s what I love about it. Because it doesn’t feel like work. It feels like a way to move forward. Whether it’s buying a house, getting a new car, or building a business, it’s a way to move forward.
You’ve heard people talk about this idea of “hardship” and “charity.” So what does it mean to have a life? What I mean by that is that your life, or what you have built for yourself, is what is worth living for.

To me, a life means that it doesnt matter how much shit gets in your way, its what you can achieve that matters. And to me, a life means that you have something to hold on to and that youll be proud of no matter what the odds.

Life is the outcome of everything. I think the main reason we are so obsessed with “The One” is that we are obsessed with “The One” because, as we all know, our only living reality is the one we choose to live in. How could we not? As society, we choose to live in a world where you can’t have anything to be proud of.
I think a lot of people feel that way, but that feeling of pride is something that you can feel, and you can hold on to it even when you cant do anything about it. I think we are all born with an amazing number of unrealized potentials. We just need to be aware of our own, and that is what we have to strive for.
One of my favorite quotes is by one of my favorite musicians, Bob Dylan. He said, “There’s a song called “My Back Pages” that I wrote about how I feel when I close my eyes.” So it’s a fitting title for this post. “My Back Pages” is a song that I wrote about how I feel when I close my eyes.

And it’s an apt metaphor for why I think working from home is so difficult. Because if we close our eyes, we know why we are doing what we are doing. We know why we are doing it. But we can’t control it.
