Some may ask why I am still writing about this. Engineering news records are very rare and they are often hard to come by. So much is still being discovered about science and technology today. It’s also hard to find any one source that will answer all questions. I think that this is why I am still writing about it. I think it’s important that we continue to question the status quo and question what is being taught.

I think that the way that we, as readers, are conditioned to think about most news, is to look for what seems to be a story that has good headlines. So many of the articles in the news today are about the death of a young woman who killed herself and her friends.
We are seeing a lot of these articles because the internet is flooded with suicide. We’ve seen a ton of articles about that as well. In the news today, we are seeing a lot of articles about the death of a young man who had his father killed and we are seeing some articles about a young man who killed his friend’s dog and got away.
The death of one of the young men is definitely a case of suicide, but the article doesn’t indicate if the young man was the one who killed his friends dog or the dog killed the young man. The article doesn’t make clear whether or not the young man was in a car with his friends or not. The article also doesn’t make clear whether or not the young man was on a school bus or not.

It’s hard to tell whether the author has a school bus in mind, or whether he is using it as a kind of metaphor for how students react when they get a news report that says something like “someone died or something happens”.
I think a better way to write this article would have been to just state what was clearly implied, and simply go on to talk about the video game, instead of saying that the guy who died was “sitting on a school bus”.
The author doesn’t care if it was in a school bus or not, so why start it with a big “You mean…” instead of just finishing it with “Hmm…
It is just as bad as being asked What happened? And saying, “Oh, that’s just a game where a kid plays a video game.” It could be that the author is using it as a metaphor for how students react when they hear a news report that says something like someone died or something happens.
