The lake wedding venue I’m sharing with you today is the result of the love and support of my husband and his friends. I can’t stop thinking about them even now as I write; it’s the type of wedding I never thought I’d have. All the details were the work of my husband and friends. Lake weddings are one of the most important details a wedding will have, and it’s a detail your wedding planner will likely help you with. Some of the most important decisions you’ll make include getting married in the most beautiful location possible, picking a great venue that fits your budget, and making the first few steps towards tying the knot as stress-free as possible. It’s almost like having a wedding planner and having two families that you love and care for.
For all practical purposes, the wedding planning industry is the only industry that exists that requires you to get a degree in wedding services, wedding planning, wedding decor, and so on. To my knowledge, there are no other industries that require you to get a bachelor’s degree in wedding planning. We’re talking about people who have been in the industry for decades and have been at it since they were in high school. They know what they’re doing.
Wedding planners are, to my knowledge, the only job in the world that requires you to have a degree in wedding planning. And I think that’s a pretty big statement. A lot of people would disagree. But to me, it’s not a bad thing.
The other thing that makes wedding planning unique is that you’re not just building a wedding. You’re building a life. You’re building a family. And as life happens, you’ll learn a lot about each other. You’ll learn things about each other that you never would have learned the other way. You’ll learn things about yourself that you never would have learned the other way.
I think the idea that a lot of people have of a wedding planning is sort of like that of a new relationship. People think that you should go crazy and run off with the girl youve been seeing. Or that you should just stop and live together until you decide you want to be married at some point. But in reality, you are building a relationship. Youre building a family. Youre building a life. It’s your turn to raise that baby.
Well, I guess that is a good analogy. But actually, most of us are not building a new family, we are actually building a new wedding. And most of us aren’t just saying, “I don’t want to go to a church wedding” or saying, “I don’t want to go to a religious wedding.” We are actually considering the idea of a wedding and looking into the venue for it.
The problem is that most wedding venues cater to the wedding industry rather than the wedding itself. Yes, it does have nice reception spaces, but they are often too small, they don’t serve food, and they are located in a mall. We are looking at venues that are large, that serve food, and that are located in a mall. So our venue searches include the area surrounding the mall and nearby areas of town.

These two areas are the two most likely places to find a wedding venue that’s both open and has a great location. Additionally, we found that the city center has a smaller wedding venue than the mall, so we’re also considering that area.
