In the latest news we have learned that Ghana is a country of extreme poverty as the number of people living in poverty is the highest in the African continent. The economy is stagnant, the education system is poor, and the health system is broken.
There is a growing call from citizens to put Ghana’s problems on the global agenda, and to start making a difference. That’s why we have launched a campaign to raise awareness about the country’s poor economic condition and its impact on the lives of its citizens.
The Ghana Campaign is a partnership between the Government of Ghana and one of our partners, Project LIFT, a social enterprise that provides a range of resources to people throughout Ghana. We are focusing attention on the issue of poverty and the ways that it affects the lives of citizens in Ghana and beyond through a series of innovative community-based projects.
