The story on the new movie Ronda Rousey is that she is being booked for a fight in a boxing match in October. I was surprised I hadn’t heard this news yesterday.
I’ve been hearing about this for a few weeks now and finally just posted a new twitter update. It’s good to see that the news is now being discussed on a mainstream news site. I don’t know what the story is, but I’m glad it’s being talked about.
There are now just about a dozen sites around the internet that carry the story on Ronda Rousey. But before you start thinking that every news site is a “sources” and “news” site, consider that Rousey’s manager and a spokesperson for the American Top Team (AT) are both on the story, and both of them have even been spotted in the ring. It seems like we’ve been living in a time loop of Rousey’s career.

I don’t even have to guess what you think this means, but it could mean, “The people who made the story are either on the inside or outside of it. Either way, it’s all about them.” Well, maybe that’s not quite right either. Rousey has never been a woman of mystery.
If you want to get even more specific, the rumor mill is going to go nuts. Rousey, in an interview with Sports Illustrateds Katie Pavlich, went on to say that the reason for her retirement in the octagon was because she was injured and couldnt compete anymore. This is going to be interesting to see how the news spreads.
The only thing that we know for sure is that Rousey is currently suffering from a right shoulder injury. This is a very serious injury and we don’t know what caused it. She is currently in a hospital in Columbus, Ohio, undergoing rehabilitation. For the record, there is no doubt in our minds that Rousey is coming back.
For one, she is a very well known fighter. For another, she is coming back to a very important weight class for her. And we know the news is going to spread because we just saw her at the UFC. If she is coming back to a weight class where she has the most potential to win, I dont think it will be all that long. We just saw her in the UFC, and we are excited for what she has to bring to the table.
The UFC is where Rousey has been training to prepare for her return to the Octagon. We’re always excited to get news on where Rousey is preparing to come back to fight, particularly if it’s going to happen at UFC 165, which will be headlined by Rousey against Miesha Tate. However, it’s only a matter of time before she will make her return to the sport.
I don’t think we should expect Rousey to return to the UFC anytime soon, but she could be getting closer to a fight against Miesha Tate. If nothing else, we’ll probably see Rousey fight Miesha again sometime before she retires from fighting. She will be fighting on the same card as Miesha, but she won’t be fighting a woman’s belt like Miesha, which has been a recurring theme in this fight.
