Ortex AMC features a variety of different security features, but the one that stands out to me is their “Door Lock”. This is an automatic door lock that is activated when the door is opened. The system, which is built into the front door and features a LED light, can open the door to a maximum of 1.5 meters to prevent intruders from getting in. We are excited to announce that we will be offering this feature to Ortex AMC customers.
This is a pretty simple, but rather ingenious idea. By having the door open at 1.5 meters, you are allowing for a lot of room for people to pass through. This is a great way to prevent people from getting through the door and getting in without you knowing.
We’re a little disappointed that we couldn’t find an outdoor light switch for our home. The light switch on the main door is a “dead” zone. If you take that away from the door, you can’t open it at all, so that will prevent people from getting in. In addition, the LED on the front of the door will only light up for a few seconds.
You’d have to be pretty insane to want to put a light switch on your door if you weren’t willing to accept those restrictions. As long as the light switches are on the door, its very difficult for people to get in and out of the house without you knowing. You can also go the complete opposite way and put a lock on the door. But that’s still allowing people to get in.
Its not so simple with the lock. You have to be willing to accept that your door is a potential entryway, and you might even have to accept that the house is your home. If you dont, then you are effectively the entryway, and not only is the door not a threat, but it is also a potential threat.
Its kind of like a door, if its not there, its a potential threat.
