The more we see of our surroundings, the more we realize just how fleeting and insignificant our surroundings really is.
That’s probably the biggest reason why I love watching movies. The first time I saw a movie I realized how small my surroundings really are and how fleeting they really are. I was about 7 years old and saw the movie “Superman Returns” with my brother. It was a really good movie. I felt like Superman. I was like “this is my life now, this is my legacy, this is who I am, this is everything that I’m going to be.
We are all so blessed to have the opportunity to see life from every point of view. And while that may mean seeing it as a series of fleeting images, the movies give us a time line to show us what that looks like. It’s a reminder of how insignificant our surroundings really are.
While watching the movie I felt the same way I felt when I was on Deathloop. The movie gives you that time line to show you what you are and who you are. On Deathloop you have time to do whatever you want. No matter how many bullets you shoot, no matter if you are being hunted by a band of monsters or a man in a suit, you can do whatever you want. You can take on the universe like never before.
I was just reading a post on Facebook about latifah and I came across this gem: “I think it is a good thing that the queen latifah wedding pictures are out there because latifah is an incredible bride and she has always been a very special woman. She deserves to be celebrated.” I can totally relate to that sentiment here. Latifah is beautiful, kind, and has a special kind of happiness that only comes from the love of a fellow woman.
Latifah is a very strong woman who has always been one of my favorite characters. She’s been a part of my life since the beginning of high school, but I’ve only seen a fraction of her life so it’s amazing that she’s not only a part of my life but her life as well.
