I took these photos to show you all that I have to choose from when it comes to shoes. I’m not always into wearing something new. I just like trying out different things. Well, except for one pair of shoes from the past.
Well, I guess you could say I am a “new” girl, but my shoes have been around since I was a little kid. The first time I ever wore them was when my mother bought me a pair of her old high-heeled shoes for my eighth birthday. I was wearing them because they were the same color, but my feet didn’t fit right. So the next time she bought me a pair of shoes of my own, I took them in to a shoe store.
And they fit. And then I learned that your feet don’t really know that they are the same size. Well, to be fair, that’s what they look like on the outside. They also look like they are made of the same material, and they have the same colors.
Which is why I wore them for my brother’s wedding later that year. I was wearing them because they were the exact same color as my eyes, but my feet were too short to fit into my wedding shoes. That meant I had to wear the shoes with my socks because they were the same material, but I had to remove the socks so my feet would fit in the shoes.
To the wedding, I wore them because they were what I liked. They were the only ones that matched my skin tone, and had the exact same color as my eyes. But they didn’t fit. And as a result, I had to dress up in wedding dresses that didn’t fit me. I wore them anyway.
