One of the biggest things that the venue guidebook can be a little frustrating is that it only allows you to choose from among a few hundred of the most popular venues in the city that we could find. This is one of those instances where you have to do some serious homework to figure out what each venue offers. We found that we could only have access to a couple dozen different types of events at each of the venues we looked at. Some of these events were good, some were bad.
The only two venues we were able to include in our guidebook were the Hilton and the Hyatt. While that is not necessarily a bad thing, it could make things a little harder for some users. The Hyatt is a place where you would expect a lot of conventions and other events, but we were unable to find any information about them. The Hilton was another venue we couldn’t find any information about, but we did find that it is a great place for weddings and other events.

Our hotel, as always, was fantastic. Our best experience was walking to the reception area with a friend. We had an awesome time and were able to get two free drinks from a bottle of wine, a free dessert, and a free appetizer. But I suspect we would not have been able to get any free drinks from the same bottle of wine and had to return to the room to get our free appetizer.
