Here is the news from the Eagles draft. There are a lot of things to say here, but I am going to focus on the draft.

The Eagles didn’t end up drafting any players at all last night. This is an important development in a long-running debate over whether the Eagles drafted the right way, as a team or as a franchise. The right way is to draft players for their ability to be a successful franchise, which is where the Eagles went last night.

The Eagles made their own attempt at drafting players last night and just failed. A draft is like a scavenger hunt and you have to be the smartest person in the room to do it. The Eagles did not do an adequate job with either of their rounds of mock drafts.

The Eagles drafted three of their six picks in the first round against the Broncos and only one of them was a high-ranking player. The Eagles picked four of their six picks over the course of the week. The Eagles will not be going all-out for the second round of the playoffs.

The Eagles drafted the very best player in the world in the draft, the one who could be a great star in a playoff. The Eagles decided to use that player to draft a player who could be a great teammate for the Eagles.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said the Eagles had gone through their “picks and needs” process, and it was clear that they wanted to make sure they selected the player they wanted. I don’t know why they took so long. I think they may have decided to take a more conservative approach instead of making a decision without knowing all the facts.

In other words, they wanted to be sure they picked the player they wanted. It might have been a smart move, but I don’t think it was the right thing to do. I still think the Eagles should have drafted Jason Kelce instead. He was actually the best player available at the time, but I’m pretty sure the Eagles would have been much better off with a player who didn’t need to be drafted to play in their offense.

The Eagles have a number of excellent receivers and don’t need to be afraid of the draft. They’ll be using their defense to get a good pass-rusher, but you don’t see any point in going against a good offensive guy.

I agree with you that the Eagles should have drafted Jason Kelce. That’s the one guy they really needed to get after. Kelce had some pretty good tools, including a lot of athleticism, but he still wasn’t able to bring a great deal of production to the table. He also had a lot of baggage and didn’t help his stock with a DUI conviction in 2005.

You make a good point about Kelce’s baggage. I have a couple of things to add about him as well. I didn’t say that Kelce would have been an elite NFL QB but I did say that Kelce had potential. The thing about Kelce is that he had a lot of promise. He was the only player on the Eagles team that I thought was on his way to being the guy.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
