The other night while I was making dinner I noticed the wind was veering to the north in the direction of northern Minnesota. As soon as I realized it, I realized it was exactly what the title of this article says, a “north branch mn weather.” The “north branch” of the mn weather is a large, steady front that hits the west side of the state, causing cold and windy weather to the north and south of the state.

Of course there are some people who don’t like the new normal because it means the change in the climate is drastic. I’m one of them, but I don’t have the patience for it. I think the change has been for the better.

The problem with winter is that it is not a constant thing. The way winter is changing in northern Canada this week has been a bit more than just a few days. It has been a full month since one of the two main snowfalls in this area that caused much damage and sent an estimated 60-70 people to hospital with respiratory problems, with the rest suffering from the cold and flu.
