When I was a kid, I used to think, “No, I don’t, no, it’s not true.” That’s not the truth. It’s just that I’ve been trying to keep up with my social life and my relationships. I’m hoping to get into the habit of spending a bit of time with friends when I have time and maybe one night when I’ll have time for myself.
It’s true. Everyone is doing socializing, and that’s a good thing. But when we’re spending too much time with friends, we become lazy. We lose the ability to pay attention to the news and get distracted by other stuff. As a result, we forget that we’re on the clock and end up missing out on the news.
I think it’s time we all took a moment to be on the clock and be social. For example, I’m a huge Star Wars fan (ok, that was a lie). I don’t watch every single episode, but I’m a huge fan of the movies. I always found a way to get out of the house to go to the movies or something like that.
Star Wars News Net was never my favorite. I find that it’s just too easy to miss important stuff. It’s also a bit too dark. I think the idea of being a scavenger is a good one. As a kid I used to play hide and seek and other games with my dad. I think some kids today don’t really have the ability to focus on things they care about. I think the idea of being a scavenger is good for many reasons.

Yeah, I suppose I could have just said “scavenger” like many of you have, but this is not the first time my father has said this. I grew up with him in the ’60s and ’70s and he always used to say, “The only good scavenger is a dead scavenger.” Now I know he was just joking, but I was shocked when I learned he had actually died.
For those that grew up with my father in the 60s and 70s, let me tell you a few stories that you can pass on if you’d like. One of them was when he was working at the post office and his co-worker was a woman he didn’t like. The woman asked him to help her take some stuff off of a cart in the mailroom, which he of course did. Well that’s where the story begins.
Not to be cruel, but he did die. He was shot in the head during the robbery.
